starting with the beginning of the WWC round of 16, on each matchday (roughly), we’ll dedicate 15 minutes to each of 10 live yoga or optional meditation sessions.

the halftime yoga women’s world cup 2023 free mini challenge:
10, 15-minute live classes across two-ish weeks (with recordings if you can’t make it live, and alternate recorded meditation sessions if you’d like to skip any physical practices)
here’s how it works, and how you can join to meet other footie fans, feel better, and win cool stuff!
We’ll meet live roughly every remaining Women’s World Cup 2023 matchday — starting Saturday, Aug. 5 and ending on Sunday, Aug. 20 (the day of the final).
Each live session will comprise 15 minutes of beginner- and open-ability activity focusing on yoga and pilates-inspired core strength. They’re spread across time zones and times of day to accommodate folks all over.
Upon registration, you’ll get added to a Challenge group in my Halftime Yoga app, where you’ll see the dates, times, and Zoom links for every session laid out. We’ll use the group to motivate each other, share wins, and get reminders/push notifications for live sessions.
Each session will feature a slightly different physical focus, including sessions with no hand/wrist pressure. All abilities are welcome — so if there’s a physical session you don’t want to do, or you don’t want to do any, you can instead substitute in four different recorded meditation sessions loaded in your
By showing up live, you’ll register one session attended.
If you can’t make a live session, you’ll find the recording handily posted in the Challenge group. Completing it in-app will register your session completion.
Tracking sessions completed — plus shares to social media — means one entry in a raffle for prizes! (Keep reading for those.)
In your challenge group, you’ll find a punch card/passport graphic you can fill out and share to social media, tagging @ariellec on Twitter, or @halftimeyoga on Instagram and TikTok. Each share means one extra entry!
Registration is open through Monday, Aug. 7, and you’ll have until midnight EST on the night of Mon, Aug. 21 to finish logging any make-up sessions.

Squad members with the top three attendance levels overall (in the case of a tie, everyone at the same attendance level gets entered in the drawing) are entered in a random drawing to win the Grand Prize. Everyone who logs a practice is entered in a drawing for the next two prizes.
